More Music
There hasn't been a post for a while so i figured i would let you in on some more music that will get you into the music that X and I listen too instead of the mtv, vhi, radio garbage that consists of slow jams and gangsta rap, or your standard, everything sounds the same pop punk. And if you are thinking now "Ok they listen to things like Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, or Simple Plan. They Rock!!!" Your dead wrong...so here it goes.

OK Jake--et al--this is my hot Friday night, blogging with my students. We have Frou Frou; Grant knew more of your suggestions than did I. Have you listened to Zero 7 (ultra mellow), Fischerspooner, or Thievery Corporation? I also like Gypsy Kings, but that may be due to my earlier Latin experiences--all in Spanish but good music. Also Death Cab for Cutie (a WA band that is coming to Crystal Ballroom in two weeks, but is already sold out). Alright, I'm tapped out for now, but you never know...happy reading in that joyful place, the Heart of Darkness!

I take it your husband is a Garden State fan. Yes i have heard of Zero 7, Fischerspooner, and Thievery Corporation. All very good bands...But I am under a rare circumstance where i have not heard any music from the Gypsy Kings...So I am signing on to Limewire as i type. And yes i have heard of Death Cab for Cutie...I have in fact posted an earlier blog that is the lyrics from a Death Cab song...I love it. Anyway I am glad that you enlightened me of this new band...I am always welcome to new suggestions as i am constantly searching for good music. I will have a new list posted soon...Oh yes and you said that you and your husband are Ambient fans? Check out Sigur Ros...ultra ultra ambient, beautiful music...And for some reason i have a feeling that you might like the Decemberists...Tell me if I am wrong. Have a good day
